Moving Meat describes itself as the accidental blog of a semi-accidental Emergency Room doctor living in the Pacific Northwest. In this case correctional officers bring in an inmate they believe to be concealing drugs on her person. The inmate was agitated so a series of tests were performed. On the X-ray this is what the doctor observed. Pretty self explanatory.

Yes, the doctor thought the inmate was boxing a handgun. The situation and course of treatment was described as follows:
She was sedated and taken to the OR for an exam under anesthesia. They put a bulletproof vest over the patient’s body to protect the anesthesiologist in the event the gun went off, and had general surgery standing by. The OB-GYN who did the extraction reported a very tense moment when he perceived that the hammer was cocked and there appeared to be a shell in the chamber.
It turned out to not be a handgun but one of those cheesy gun lighters. A glass crack pipe and rubber tubing was also located. This inmate had demonstrated that she had quite a bit of room in there.
