The DEA has released a slide show called DEA-A Year in Pictures. The following three were my favorites. Maybe they should consider releasing a yearly calendar.
January 26, 2006: DEA and ICE agents uncovered a massive cross-border drug tunnel between the U.S. and Mexico. The cement lined passage linked warehouses in Tijuana, Mexico and Otay Mesa, California. The nearly 1,000 yard tunnel came complete with electricity, ventilation and over two tons of marijuana.

May 17, 2006: Three islands, $70 million in assets and 52 tons of cocaine were seized by the DEA as part of Operation Twin Oceans. Brazil, Colombia and Panama joined the U.S. in the operation which also resulted in over 100 arrests including one of the most-wanted drug kingpins in the world.

November 30, 2006: DEA celebrated National Methamphetamine Awareness Day by announcing the arrests of 10 individuals and the seizure of 9 meth labs throughout New York City and Long Island. Operation Red Fusion uncovered one drug laboratory in a penthouse apartment overlooking the United Nations.
