Crime Sift

I have posted a couple of videos now from the mediathatmatters film festival. Books Not Bars is another. It has some interesting statistics, black drug offenders are 48 times as likely to be incarcerated, latino offenders 13 times as likely to be incarcerated, in comparison to white offenders. Mothers are the fastest growing segment of the prison population. I think that this issue, how the United States deals with its growing prison population will be one of the most important issues that will have to be addressed over the next decade.
